ABOUT LIGHTFIELD
Education built around the child
Lightfield combines strong academic expectations with individual attention,
structured pastoral care, and opportunities for children to develop
confidence, creativity and responsibility.

WHO WE ARE
A school that understands
children as individuals
Lightfield is an independent crèche, nursery and primary school in
Shasha, Alimosho, Lagos. We serve families seeking a school that is
academically purposeful, well organised, child-centred and committed
to close parent partnership.
Children may differ in confidence, prior experience, pace of
development, interests and strengths. These differences should inform
teaching — but they should never determine the limits of what a child
may achieve.
Admissions now open for Crèche, Nursery & Primary School.

OUR VISION
To be a leading nursery and primary school in
Lagos, recognised for identifying the potential
of every child and developing confident,
compassionate, creative and future-ready
learners.
OUR MISSION
To provide a safe, inclusive and nurturing education in which
every child is known, supported and challenged — through
excellent teaching, a rigorous Nigerian National Curriculum
enriched with British educational standards, STEAM learning,
creativity, leadership and strong values.
WHAT GUIDES US
The beliefs behind our teaching
No child is written off.
Our founding conviction — and the measure of
everything we do.
Prepared for more than exams
Pupils need knowledge, communication, digital
awareness, confidence, judgement, resilience
and teamwork.
Parents are educational partners
Open communication and shared responsibility
improve consistency between home and
school.
Knowledge and character grow
together
Good education builds what children know,
how they think, how they behave and how they
contribute.
High expectations need real
support
A school should not have to choose between
being nurturing and being academically
ambitious. Children need both.
Every learner deserves serious
attention
We make no permanent judgement about a
child based on one test, one difficulty or one
stage of development.
